(mps) Baden-Württemberg against the “rest of the world”, was the motto in the Preis der Firma XXL Sicherheit, the knock-out class at the 23rd international STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS show on Saturday afternoon. And this motto was still valid in the semi-final. 16.11.2007 - Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst wins the MERCEDES GERMAN MASTER for the first time

(mps) In two qualifications, the complete world’s top show-jumpers had fought against each other, but only the twelve bests of this elitist elimination contest were allowed to participate in the MERCEDES GERMAN MASTER, the second main class of the international STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS show. And finally, Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst (Mühlen) was the “best of the best” and was richly rewarded with a Mercedes-Benz C 200, which is worth more than 33.000 Euro (net value).  mehr

(mps) Once again in the class about the Preis der Firma DIW Instandhaltung GmbH & Co. KG on Friday evening, he prove that his nickname “Rasender Heiner” (Rushing Heiner) is correct: On Aboyeur W, the 13-year old Westfalian gelding, the 48-year old Heinrich Hermann Engemann won the second qualifier for the MERCEDES GERMAN MASTER in a clear round in 57.67 seconds and, thus, was allowed to fight for one of the most renowned show-jumping title in Germany on late Friday evening.  mehr

16.11.2007 - Renoir-Unicef says “Goodbye” with a victory– Matthias Alexander Rath wins the final of the Piaff-Förderpreis

(mps) He had already convinced the judges in the final of the Piaff-Förderpreis at the 22nd international STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS show 2006 – and also in the 23rd edition of the indoor equestrian classic, the winner’s ribbon of the class of the Liselott Schindling foundation was received by Matthias Alexander Rath from Kronenberg. After he had already shown his ambitions with his success at the second qualifier in Lingen in June, the 23-year old started relatively calmly in the opening class on Thursday, where he ended up in the fifth position.  mehr

Riding Wallach Warum nicht FRH, the 11-year old Hanoverian gelding, the quadruple Olympic winner, six times world and 12 times European champion impressively won the Grand Prix for the Preis des Ingenieurbüro Hauser und der Familie Winter-Schulze on Friday morning.  mehr

15.11.2007 - First female rider’s victory after 19 years – Verena Karle wins the BW-Bank Hallenchampionat

(mps) At the third edition of the unofficial regional championships in the framework of the international STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS show in 1988, it was a female rider - Miriam Wurster –who was victorious. Since then, the male riders have dominated this highlight of the show-jumping riders of Baden-Württemberg. Up to Thursday evening, when the 24-year old Verena Karle won the BW-Bank Hallenchampionat, being the first woman after 19 years of men’s dominance.  mehr

15.11.2007 - Zoer and Beerbaum win the opening jumping classes about the Preis der Bardusch GmbH Textil-Mietdienste

(mps) On Thursday afternoon, Albert Zoer, the team world and European champion had a brilliant start into the 23rd international STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS show, which is held in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle. Riding Lincoln, the 16-year old stallion, the 32-year old Dutchman was in excellent form and won the class “Preis der Bardusch GmbH Textil-Mietdienste”, the opening jumping class for foreign riders, with a clear round in 54.36 seconds.  mehr

(mps) Not only for the spectators, but also for the media, the 23rd international STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS show is very attractive and a great centre of attraction. Approximately 220 journalists, photographers, radio reporters and TV crews from Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Austria, the Netherlands, Great Britain, France or Sweden accredited for the world’s best indoor show to report about it. ZDF (public German channel) will transmit the decision in the Grand Prix live in “Sport extra” on Sunday from 4:00-5:00 p.m.  mehr

15.11.2007 - First starter was the most successful: Michael Jung wins indoor eventing class about the Preis der Ensinger Mineral-Heilquellen

(mps) As the first of a total of 22 competitors, Michael Jung from Altheim met the challenge of the enormous jumps in the class “Preis der Ensinger Mineral-Heilquellen”, the indoor eventing class at the international STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS show. And with a clear round in 79.99 seconds, the 25-year old and Miss Meller, his 11-year old Trakehner mare, had presented a time in front of 8.000 enthusiastic spectators in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, which was an irresolvable task for his competitors. Thus, after having won in 2005, Jung was the first rider who has won the indoor eventing class at the STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS twice and could be happy about this triumph as well as the prize-money of 2.000 Euro.  mehr

14.11.2007 - Nice performance on “Catwalk” - Christian Ahlmann wins the MercedesCard Jump & Drive for the third time

(mps) Without doubt, he has not planned a model career – however, Christian Ahlmann (Marl) performed extremely well on (the) Catwalk at the 23. international STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS show on Wednesday evening. With the ten-year old gelding from Holstein, the 32-year old mastered the first half of the MercedesCard Jump & Drive without any penalty points and then maneuvered the Mercedes-Benz A 180 DT faultlessly and in the best time through the 11 gates of the second half of the course.  mehr

12.11.2007 - STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS: Once more a “star parade” with the Crème de la Crème of equestrian sports

“The entry result is a good indicator that the STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS is the absolute top-class indoor event!” Gotthilf Riexinger is proud that he is able to present a large number of top riders and world-class drivers – most of them will also start with their best horses – to the equestrian sports fans at the 23rd edition of the international STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS show which will be held in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle from the 14th to the 18th of November. And this star parade with the Crème de la Crème of equestrian sports is very appreciated by the spectators: “Until now, we have sold more than 45.000 entry tickets, which is a better result than at the same time last year”, Andreas Kroll, the general manager of the in.Stuttgart event organization, said happily.
